Sunday in my City

Sundays in Bridport are usually pretty uneventful but today we ventured into Launceston for two events.  The first was the 30th birthday celebrations of the Migrant Resource Centre.  And celebrate they did!  Lots of song and dance and the food, ohhhhhhhhhh the food!

We also visited some of the venues for the annual Junction Arts Festival and made some masks with the Team Textiles.

And listened to a music relay play some Bach in one of the historic churches in town.

I love the cultures and diversity that Australia has to offer. We are so lucky to have friends from all over the world share their colour and vibrancy. Enjoy :-)

The second shot, of your children, is priceless. They look like they had lots of fun at the festival.

I dig the masks. Wish I could have sampled some of the food.
