Well my little homeschool traitor is absolutely loving school. Here he is on the first day :)
He also got his pic in the school newsletter this week and a start of the week mention for his class as being a fantastic listener.

mixed feeling Tanja, I am rapt that he is so enthusiastic and happy and managing so well but at the same time I worry he will be pushed into that square IKYWIM. I figure if I keep a small corner of the square open so he is always able to escape it then he will be ok
I'm quite sure he'll be fine in the school system. You have given him some fantastic grounding at home. I just finished reading a book based on interviews with adults who were homeschooled as children. I got it at an op shop, and I found it really interesting. I'd love to send it to you if you'd like to read it.
