The Northern Children's Network have been running an art competition/exhibition for 0-18 year olds for the past five years. This year my kids took the plunge and entered a piece each. Beren decided on a collage called the three headed squiggly armed alien and and Nienna did a wet on wet painting of a flower garden. We will go to the opening next Wednesday night to see all the great art work that is contributed.

Thanks for your comment :-)
Your blog is interesting. In your profile you write homeschool,
as a former teacher, I am curious. Why?
It's going to be fun to see the display of all the artworks!
It's great that you are encouraging your kids to participate. Wonderful, really!
The kids not only had fun but created lovely pieces of art work. :)
I love the idea of the exhibition, and I have to say that the collage is my favourite :)
Great art work! I home schooled for 18 years and loved it...
Keep us posted on the exhibit!
I am your newest Follower!
