home ed bake day

Sharing this with other players over on Childhood101 for We Play

On Mondays we usually try to fit in some cooking in the afternoon. We made some apple cinnamon scrolls and some vanilla biscuits (cookies) that were then decorated. I mistakenly thought I had a meeting tonight so thought it would be nice to take the scrolls along DOH!
We have had a busy day today, we have been discussing spring so we did a literacy exercise on spring then some math. The kids have finished their flat stanley's and we will get them laminated so they last longer.

I have also become a contributing blogger over at macro25 so come visit us :)

I love kids helping in the kitchen and those cookies look awesome!

Princess rushes to help me at each dinner time now so she can cut the vegetables with her new kiddy knife. So far she has only managed to cut mushrooms without any frustration, but it is great to see her so enthused :)
