today we went for a walk to collect some twisted(tortured) willow branches to make as a back drop for our season table. We talked about spring and what happens to animals, gardens, weather etc
When we got home we made fleece blossoms and a felt butterfly plus some people to decorate our table. Our tree also has a swing for the fairy to swing on in the garden. We had great fun creating and learning about spring.
Some seed pods we collected yesterday

What a wonderful way to celebrate spring!
This is just beautiful. What a wonderful way to celebrate, learn and enjoy the season in your home. I love it.
Lovely ideas! I really need to start doing activities with the kids to celebrate each season as it comes.
It looks lovely :) I especially like the pink butterfly!
THIS is absolutely gorgeous!
What a beautiful table! I have wanted to do one for such a long time, but have nowhere to put it. :(
I love the character that the branch gives to the space, and I bet the fairy is loving having somewhere to place her swing :)
I love this idea! What a great way to learn about each season.
Just gorgeous! I can't think of a better way to celebrate spring!
What a lovely Spring table! Thanks for sharing! Enjoy your Spring...we are just heading into fall here, although since we live in South Florida, you can't really tell...just dropped from the 90s into the 80s and even the 70s a few times.
Have a nice weekend,
Colleen

What a special space, I love the branch and your handmade features, gorgeous. I simply must find a space for us to have a seasonal display.
