There is an awesome place in Launceston called 'Goods in Remission'. It is run by a man called Hank and all proceeds go to a church mission of some sort. He gets old furniture and does it up or makes other useful furniture from bits and pieces. I love going in and browsing and last visit did not disappoint! I got this beautiful dressing table and gentlemans robe/low boy for $540 for the two. The robe is a bit dusty in the pic and needs a polish but they match my coogans blackwood bed perfectly and I am stoked!
