Don't forget the flowers

Moving to a new house that has great gardens is so exciting!  There is constantly something pushing it's way through the earth or popping out on the end of a branch.  The colours are constantly changing and there is a beautiful fragrance as you wander around the garden.

What a gorgeous day

Despite loads of bad weather warnings, snow, gusts etc we woke to a beautiful day today. Heaters off, washing hung and girls playing very happily outside all day. Beren has opted out and gone to his dad's while Nienna has the divine Ms M here to play.
The girls have been writing songs, preparing mud feasts and generally enjoying each others company. It is so lovely sitting here listening to them play. They haven't seen each other (apart from at dancing) for ages and are really loving being together.
I also picked the last of the broccoli and made some yummy organic broccoli and bacon soup.
We are hoping the lovely weather holds out and the two families will share a BBQ this evening.
