This is the start of some socks for my dad for his birthday. I haven't knitted socks before so it is going to be interesting. I hope to get him two pair done.
I made this dress at the end of last year, but Nienna painted in it and stained the front. I still had some of the daisy fabric so I appliqued hearts over the stains and it is good as new again

the socks are looking nice, just remember to cast on again quickly once you are done to avoid the dreaded SSS!
Great idea with the patches on the dress too, ellie has so many stained clothes from daycare and I should be able to plead with my machine to work long enough to do some patches.
