Autumn

I love Autumn and Spring but my favourite is Autumn. I love the colours as the trees shed their leaves. I love the tiny buds pushing through the earth as the bulbs wake up again for the year. It gets colder and colder and yes I complain as I forget how uncomfortable I was in the heat of summer. But the warmth of a fire and a blanket, slow cooker meals and soup with damper. Warm weekends by the fire playing board games or watching a movie together. I love Autumn.
