We are doing the postcrossing project. Last week we posted off five cards to various recipients around the world. Yesterday we got an email saying one from Italy had been received. The children are marking where cards are sent and received from on their world map then we look at the route taken, time and distance for the card to be sent. It is a great project for home ed and also for Beren's stamp collection. I can't wait until we start to receive some too!
Are you doing this project or any others of interest? I would love to hear from other home schoolers about any swaps etc they might do. We are also doing the flat stanley project.
