Sundays in my City

Finally a Sunday without rain!  I took the opportunity to get out and take some photos.  It is so funny people watching.  My focus today was on the city skate park, it really is a sub culture with many unspoken rules.  I thoroughly enjoyed my time and the best thing was that all the boys started showing off for the camera LOL

One way to keep your bike safe from others

Shy boy posing for me LOL

The cool girls don't hang too close to the cool boys

Some choose to work on their yachts on a Sunday

Others choose fishing

A wonderful collection of city images. I do wonder about the backstory on why the bikes is up in a tree.

Oh my goodness. LOVE the bicycle in the tree. How cool and creative is that : ) I can just hear all the laughter that was happening as that was getting thrown up into the tree : )

LOVE Shy boy posing. What a sweetie! Hope your Sunday is awesome. Stay away rain, right?

Kebeni, what a colorful array of fun shots. Love the bike in the tree and wondering just how someone was able to get it up there. Love the skateboarders too.

I keep hoping to see more of the cool girls actually using the skate park. It's becoming a little more frequent here, but still the boys rule the park.

How funny that the day I share my joyous downpour shots you share your lovely day without rain shots. This truly is an international carnival. :)

I am so glad my three sons lived through the days of skate boarding...with nothing more than a cut chin requiring stitches, a chipped tooth, and a few bruises. My oldest will be 40 Dec 17th, the middle one is 27 and the youngest is 25.

Some years ago, I was so fortunate to do a cruise from Sydney to Auckland...spent two days in Sydney at the start and two in Auckland at the end. Fabulous!
