Sunday

Today Nienna had a birthday party to go to for a little friend turning seven.  Due to my 'no new purchases' vow I discussed what she would like to make as a gift.  We came up with the following dress and a matching back I forgot to photograph.  Nienna designed the dress and I made it.  I think we did pretty good, what do you think?

Great work. I am guessing that there is one very happy little birthday girl and a very proud friend.

That is beautiful material and a lovely dress (and model) I have my Mum's sewing machine here, I really should get it out and try and teach myself to sew again. I used to sew a lot as a teenager but I was very slap dash with it. thank you for joining in :)

WoW!!! This is a beautiful dress, a great lesson for your daughter and a wonderful gift. The fabric is gorgeous and I bet the 7 year old birthday girl will be thrilled to receive it.

You've inspired me to look through my mountain of fabric and see what I can design. Thanks.

Happy SIMC, jj
